UK property firms’ foray into the Kenyan market

Kenyan property market has attracted considerable interest from UK-based firms in recent times. A number of these have been involved in the development of mega projects in the country. Actis, a private equity investor, recently raised Sh50 billion that will be invested in privately-owned real estate projects across Africa. The fund, dubbed Actis Africa Real Estate Fund 3 (ARE3), will be invested in privately-owned real estate projects on the continent.
