It all began as a dream and a plan on a pad of paper.
It all started with the introduction of the Real Estate Maximum concept in 1973 by the founders Dave and Gail Liniger, which revolutionized the real estate market. The idea was simple: attracting the best real estate agents by providing various competitive advantages all under the RE/MAX brand. Better commission plans for associates, a unique training system and state-of-the-art technology helped RE/MAX to take off. The idea has since proven highly successful and enabled us to evolve into an extensive international network of real estate professionals.
RE/MAX launches in Kenya
RE/MAX Kenya was launched during the last quarter of 2013 based on our confidence in the strength and stability of Kenya’s real estate industry. We started operations in January 2014.
